It takes moxie, this being human.

Here, I practice therapy designed to connect you to your innate strength and stability.  We widen your understanding of yourself and in turn, what you are capable of.  This means that change that feels insurmountable today becomes possible for you.

So, if you're looking for a comfortable place to challenge yourself, welcome home.

SERIOUSLY, I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL.

You don't know exactly why you keep getting stuck in the same patterns, the same relationship dynamics, the same cycles, feeling the same type of anger, grief, stress and distress, anxiety. You've analyzed your life in your own mind and come to some early conclusions, but think it's time for a trained, unbiased eye to come in for backup. You want to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life with enriching and intimate relationships, but you can't seem to get there. You feel disconnected from your own ability to deal.

Working with Moxie Mental Health, you won't get a therapist who sits back quietly, nodding with gentle mhmm's as you lay out your woes session after session. I will be an active partner to you, bringing insight, expertise and regular feedback to help you uncover the patterns, beliefs and themes in your life that may be directing your behavior without your conscious realization. Often that awareness is enough to start the change process, but if not, we'll ensure that we work together to translate insight into action.

If this resonates, get in touch. Let's do this thing, together.

I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow
if you have been opened by life's betrayals
or have become shriveled and closed from fear of future pain

I want to know if you can see beauty even when it's not pretty every day

if you can source your own life from its presence

I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back

The Invitation

Reach out. Really.
